Why do I attend class reunions?  To have fun!  I was a lost classmate for many years.  I often wondered what happened to my best friend from high school.  In 2000, I received an e-mail from a friend concerning Classmates.com.  Shortly after registering on Classmates, I received an e-mail from my long lost friend.  In 2000, my friend and I decided to attend the “Lost in the Fifties Reunion” sponsored by the class of 1963.  We both felt a little insecure attending a reunion when we didn’t know anyone.   However, it was a great weekend.  Since attending the reunion, I have met many SOCites from 64 as well as other classes.  The past year was a difficult one for me.  My SOC friends have really touched my heart by providing so much encouragement and support. I don’t know what I would have done without them.  When I count my many blessings, I count my SOC friends near the top.  I’m happy that I’m “Still Kickin’ After All These Years” and wouldn’t think of missing our upcoming 40^th reunion.  Be there or be square!
